The Foothills Reforestation Interactive Planning System, known as FRIPSY, is a predictive decision-support tool that primarily uses the Regenerated Lodgepole Pine trial. It forecasts based user-inputed site and treatment information and optional establishment survey data. It is linked directly to the Growth and Yield Projection System (GYPSY) to project the impacts of alternative silvicultural prescriptions on mean annual increment.
The latest version of FRIPSY (version BP_2019b) incorporates yield forecasting without basal area adjustment and operational adjustment factors.
